How this website handles your information.

This website doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you, and doesn't collect any personal information when you visit it.

Who we are

This website is run by Broadwater Cricket Club, Broadwater Green, Worthing, West Sussex. For any question about privacy, or to make a request about your personal information, email info@broadwatercc.co.uk.

Visiting the website

  • We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising tools, so there is no cookie banner.
  • Fonts and images are stored on this website, not loaded from other companies.
  • The map on the home page is provided by OpenStreetMap, which sets no cookies. As with any website, OpenStreetMap's servers receive your IP address to show the map. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
  • The site is hosted by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub's servers record technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Fixtures, results and calendars

Fixtures and results come from the club's Play-Cricket site. When you download a fixtures calendar, the file is created on your own device; nothing is sent to us. If you subscribe to a calendar, your calendar app checks this website for updates from time to time.

Links to other websites

Links such as "Get directions" (Google Maps), Play-Cricket scorecards and our social media pages take you to other organisations' websites, which have their own privacy policies. Nothing is shared with them until you click a link.

Emailing the club

If you email us, we use your message and contact details only to reply to you and to run the club. Emails to club addresses are forwarded to the relevant club officer.

Photographs

We only publish photographs of junior members with consent from a parent or carer. If you'd like a photo of you or your child removed, email info@broadwatercc.co.uk and we'll take it down.

Membership

Information the club holds about its members, for example through Play-Cricket and membership forms, is covered by the club's membership privacy notice, available on request.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
