Broadwater Cricket Club
Worthing's oldest cricket club, playing on Broadwater Green for more than two and a half centuries.
A community club on the town's green
We've played on the same patch of grass since 1771, which makes Broadwater the first cricket club formed in what is now the borough of Worthing.
Today we run three Saturday sides in the Sussex Cricket League, a Sunday friendly XI, a midweek T20 team and a growing junior section with U13, U14 and U15 teams. Whether you're an experienced league cricketer, returning to the game or picking up a bat for the first time, there's a game here for you.
Broadwater Green is a public ground, and the net on the green is the only public cricket net in Worthing: it's there for everyone.
Our teams
Three Saturday league sides, Sunday and T20 cricket, and juniors from under 13 to under 15.
